Things That Bother Radiomen:

Having other radiomen & data processors :

-Deliberately sabotage I.T. equipment, or I.T. storage rooms

-Deliberately attempt to download the wrong messages to the wrong submarines

-Deliberately distract/confuse the officer of the watch by deliberately processing non-emergency messages as actual emergencies

-Show up inebriated, or hung over

-Criminally stalk their own coworkers

-Sexually harass, sexually and physically assault their own coworkers

-Belong to drug cartels

-Belong to gangs

-Participate with hate criminals

-Fraternize

-Radiomen from allied countries who actually think it's culturally acceptable to physically touch female, pregnant, Asian-American, U.S. radiomen from the D.C. Metro in the actual state of Hawaii

-The idea of actually" learning/being re-educated/brainwashed" to blindly trust other radiomen, let alone data processors, and even more bothersome would be the unimaginable: blindly trusting ones from our allied countries

Things That Worry Radiomen:

-Individuals who actually believe themselves to be in charge of everyone, yet lie frequently

-Changes in computer/telephone/modem sounds, indicator lights

-Strange clicks/noises/changes in volume levels during phone discussions

-Unusual background noises during phone discussions

-Being trained incompetently by others

-Redness in others' eyes

-Issues with eye contact in others

-Pauses in speech for no actual reason in others

-Drastic appearance changes or any vocal changes in others, including colds

-The idea of other radiomen being struck with laryngitis right before something critical

-Punctuation issues, even while speaking (e.g. a question mark tone of voice, that needs to be clarified right away)

-That incorrect number of spaces in that sentence from exactly twenty years ago

-Being that dreaded state: too tired to actually  shout loudly at officers, and those who technically outrank us, across a noisy, crowded room

-When the term "right" is used instead of "correct," or "affirmative"

-Low ink levels in all printers, and pens

-Even the tragically worrisome idea that there wouldn't be enough reliable power supplies for the electronics

-Others who don't enjoy/appreciate receiving power surge protectors as stocking stuffers for Christmas

-Others who don't appreciate have constant password changes, and fifty back ups of every single piece of data

-Others who don't appreciate beautiful engineering or I.T. solutions as art

-Running out of paper at work

-The brightness level of any paper not being the absolute brightest in the world (or any computer monitors' contrast levels)

-Anything caught mid-sentence, by another radioman at the door, especially while on the phone, and keeping track of three other, historically abusive, unreliable, radiomen in the physical vicinity

-Others who don't enjoy being around electricians, or anyone that would actually ever abuse them in any way

-The phrase "radiowoman," even if you're not an actual male radioman

-Others who don't want to be just like the satellite "experts"

-Others who don't appreciate the latest updates of defrag/anti-virus/anti-malware/anti-spyware software

-Others who don't truly feel that C-SPAN's coverage of Gen. Keith Alexander's speech was fascinating and worth watching

-Others who don't dream about a future where America possessed the world's fastest lab-created/synthetic, diamond microprocessor chips and supercomputers
