UPDATED: David Baldacci Summer BBQ Cheesecake Possibility:

Add this between two, thin, mascarpone  cheese cake layers with the crust made from the World Market, Swedish ginger cookie crust (large, red tins). Substitute the fig paste wine ingredient with a spiced, buttered rum. Slather all over with an inch thick of mascarpone cheese, ice cream cake frosting, similarly to French butter cream icing.

An Italian fish and chips version with fresh, cultured abalone a l'Escargot would be a great picnic platter for this casual dessert.
