It's hard for the French to understand American outrage regarding Dr. Melgen, and Senator Menendez. I know people often accuse the American media of being puritanical, after the media coverage of JFK, Jr.'s multiple affairs, while in office. I think of this in terms of the type of abuse that healthcare providers and others in positions of trust could be inflicting upon battered, disabled, female, minority veterans.
To me, this is about the trust and power corrupted officials have in the Democratic Party, while pretending to uphold feminist, liberal principles to "protect" women and children. It reminds me of the Kenneth Star investigation into President Bill Clinton, prior to impeachment. He should probably be consulted about how to impeach every corrupt Democrat in the Senate and House of Representatives. We don't need these scandals to be swept under the rug, right before another Presidential election. Even moderate Democrat, Jim Webb has had an ethics scandal already.
