The labor disputes at the West Coast ports need to be re-investigated for employment discrimination against GLBT veterans and service members. They should be gathered for a class-action lawsuit. The violent hate crimes against GLBT and their families need to be prevented with more inclusive, human resources, private security guards at the ports. Also, the San Francisco (Metro) Police Departments will need to create more free stranger danger, campus safety programs for the latchkey students.

Hopefully, they can be offered Science, Math, Technology (STEM) scholarships year-round, bilingual, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. with all meals, beverages and snacks to offset the cost of living in such an expensive area. Perhaps they can also be moved into an earthquake-resistant condominium with public transportation station, similar to Crystal City in Northern Virginia.

***The homeless veterans need to be given preference for those programs, especially PTSD-friendly, safe, assisted living housing. They need nursing home placement, for the wheelchair-bound ones. The local law enforcement need more wheelchair-accessible  vehicles to pick up all the abused, neglected, disabled veterans. As usual, many do not have a wheelchair even. Some are legless and on skateboards, living in a dumpster or abandoned car. The State of California is going to need a class-action lawsuit for them.***
