Bernd Heinrich's " Winter World" Book

I find myself in love with the descriptions of Bern Heinrich's pet, baby, northern flying squirrel in this book. He fed it infant formula with an eye dropper and carried it around in his pocket. Later it ate ice cream at the campus dairy with him. I feel like we need to name the baby, rescued/rehabilitating, wild squirrels after the KIA, MIA veterans and try to honor their families, including their orphaned children. I hope everyone can organize something like that for them, because many continually slip through the cracks of a failed Social Services, and VA program, that sexually molests, and human trafficks them, then organ harvests them.
