Paralyzed Veterans of America: Hosting Fundraising Events

http://www.pva.org/site/c.ajIRK9NJLcJ2E/b.7612803/k.8F6C/Host_an_Event.htm

Please ask our Colorado governor and Denver mayor to gather the entire interfaith community, to hold a state-wide bowl-a-thon fundraiser at the bowling alleys. The cost for lane rentals and rental bowling shoes could be negotiated by our politicians for this event. Memorial Day, Veterans Day and July 4th would be appropriate times each and every year, to host a Democratic Party benefit for them.

It would help our wonderful heroes, who are paralyzed veterans & desperately need new, custom-built, high-tech, voice recognition software-activated, electronic wheelchairs (water/weather-resistant), and disabled-accessible housing in full-time care assisted living facilities.

Another possibility would be to rent the public golf courses and universities' tennis courts for fundraising.  The local universities could also offer full tuition and boarding scholarships to our paralyzed veterans in wheelchairs.  The public university campuses would need to be appropriately wheelchair challenged-accessible also.

This year's Memorial Day is on May 26th. July 4th, and Veteran's Day, on Nov. 11th would all be appropriate for Democrat Party-hosted bowl-a-thons, tennis and golfing tournaments. We could also have the Memorial Day proceeds go towards the widows and orphans of deceased/killed-in-action veterans.

For Memorial Day, we'll need to raise at least twelve million, five hundred thousand dollars to purchase 1,250 acres of safe, healthy land with excellent well-water, soil and air quality in the Midwest and Central regions of our country for our deceased veterans' orphans and widows.  It needs to include adequate roads, easily accessible to the top (top 2%-rated) public school systems within each state.

Habitat for Humanity can help aquire free, safe, energy-efficient (reconditioned) trailer homes for 2,500 of our poorest KIA, MIA (killed in action, missing in action) veterans' families. Since our First Lady advocates for the military families, it would be excellent to secure them 1,250 acres of land and 2,500 (qty), trailers, each one a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom, approximately 2,000 square foot home.

The price of the 1,250 acres would need to be negotiated for $10,000/acre, property tax-free for ten years. That amount should be put into state-governed escrow accounts to be used as collateral. Then, we could secure those 2,500 widows and orphans a zero percent interest rate, waived loan and title processing fees, 30-year fixed mortgage just for the land purchase. PMI, or private mortgage insurance shouldn't be charged on the land or donated trailers either.
