Dogwood Trees: Bonsai Tree Growing, Care

http://www.bonsaitreegardener.net/dogwood-bonsai

The dogwood bonsai tree needs to have 5.5 pH soil that's a blend of organic compost, peat moss and coarse sand. The bottom of the container should have a few inches of rocks, for drainage. Dogwood bonsai trees need new soil and a larger pot twice per year, and pruning in the winter, when it's dormant/not actively flowering, or forming new leaves. It prefers part-shade conditions, with pruning that encourages air circulation (less crowding of the branches).
