It's safest when traveling in military uniform, to fly, or book a private train room and pack a few meals, beverages, that don't require refrigeration. That way, you can lock all your belongings, toiletries and foods up, in order to rest. Luggage and all backpacks should ideally have locks and name, address, phone number labels on them. Try to rest inside the U.S.O. at the airports or travel (within the U.S.) in groups of five people, minimum.
