3 cup of argan oil, organic or organic, food-grade, super-refined emu oil
7 cups of pure silk protein oil
4 cups of extra virgin olive oil, or flaxseed oil, organic
4 TBL of natural vitamin E oil
4 TBL of sandalwood, frankincense & myrrh oil, organic (or relaxing vanilla bean oil, organic)
Blend together for 3 minutes in blender, on high. Keep in fridge, dated and labeled. Apply to hair, especially ends. Put on a shower cap, and keep in hair for 30 minutes before shampooing outwith baby shampoo (50% Johnson & Johnson's Baby Shampoo with honey, 50% silk protein oil) and then conditioning hair again.
For African-American hair, only shampoo hair with a mild, baby shampoo (Johnson & Johnson's baby shampoo with honey, blended 50% with 50% silk protein oil, in blender) once a week, with only lukewarm water. Always condition hair right afterwards. Leave your silk protein conditioner in for 10 minutes, every day. Use a silk protein deep conditioning treatment for 30 minutes on hair at least 2x/week also. Every other day is ideal.
Use a daily leave-in hair conditioner spray with UVA and UVB protectant on hair also. Cover hair and tender scalp, which can burn, with a UPF 50+ wide-brim hat also. Only go to an African-American-owned and operated barbershop or hair salon. Only use the hair brush and combs recommended by your African-American barber or hair dresser. Otherwise it can damage your African-American hair.
Braids, twists and corn rows (not too tight) by a professional is best. Children need to pick out their own hair style, hair accessories (ribbons, beads) or design them. Let them pick out which UPF wide-brimmed hats and headbands/bandanas they prefer also. Preteens can learn to design and sew their own headbands, bandanas and hair scrunchies too.
Try to get the neutral, colorful, and printed UPF 50+ fabrics in bulk for the African-American churches, temples, synagogues and worship centers. The children, preteens and teens need it for the arts and crafts centers. Don't forget to request the highest quality serging machines and quilting sewing machines for donation.
The military will need to relax their regulations/restrictions regarding African-American hair styles, as chemically relaxing their hair can be highly toxic and also, damage both their tender, fragile hair and scalp.
