Business Management Article:

http://www.bbc.com/capital/story/20150427-before-you-sack-try-this

An article on hiring diversity, and having positive communication skills isn't going to make your day, but I suggest researching team building skills, to boost employee morale. It makes a huge difference if companies have a known reputation for allowing their pink-slipped workers to job search, on their workstations, and use their copiers for this purpose, the last three months of their time. This will boost the U.S. military's and Pentagon's appeal for young, Silicon Valley, executive I.T. recruits.

Ideas for creating a positive work environment:

-Contract with a reputable temping company, but also lay off all red-flagged, college student interns.

-Remove all employers, and employees for comprehensive drug testing, each and every single month, no matter what position they are in, or their prestigious backgrounds.

-Test all your employees knowledge, to ensure they are truly qualified, every season, and create a training program for them, with ACE-approved, university credits from CTU (via satellite).

-Professionalism is a morale booster. Ban all discussion about politics in the workplace. Direct them instead towards interfaith charities, such as sending them to Big Brothers, and Big Sisters mentoring organizations in safe, large groups.

-Is there a need to get paperless technologies to save on space, if renting?

-The employees need to be recognized once per week for positive praise and recognition.

-Can intellectual property lawsuits occur to further prevent corporate espionage?

-Having the monthly meetings with a loving-kindness, inclusive, non-classist theme gets a better reaction from everyone. One month, you may decide to have the upper management serving cappucinos to the lowest levels of managers, or the new employees, for instance. Invest in a coffee mess that seems like your upper management could easily serve fail-proof espresso shots, and foam the whipped cream easily. Make them wear an over-the-top, company logo apron, even for men, while doing this in front of their employees. Add a heart-shaped cocoa powder (stenciled) on top of their custom cappucinos.

-Is your brand reputable?

-Are complaints handled professionally? Is there a script and procedure in place that employees must rehearse and use well, for complaints?

-Can a professional nanny/au pair be retained for employees with sick children, on a full-time basis?

-Have you organized safety training and provided every employee free, first aid, cpr, and defibrillator certifications?

-Is there at least six times per year, fire drill, with an evacuation plan, clear exits, along with an asbestos, lead and mercury poising check once per year?

-Have you invested in used, I.T. equipment only?

-Can you switch to freeware operating systems on all CPUs, and all laptops. You can install all of this yourself in one weekend, per 500 employees.
