Now, hopefully, all the prescription medications, approved by the F.D.A., can be made in Cuban factories, with humane, F.D.A.-approved, working conditions, and on-site, Cuban-American supervisors. Cuba has developed impressive, cost-effective, generic, prescription drugs, and medical supplies factories. It would be wonderful if they could create nanotechnology drug delivery patches of time-released, standardized, water-proof, chemotherapy, HIV medications, and birth control, approved by the F.D.A. These would be prohibitively expensive, if manufactured in the U.S., due to the overall cost of living.
