I feel like sad that I can't ask Grammy Rier for guidance on why exactly these types of people exist, except she passed away. Grampy Rier said they had KKK in Maine also. I want to know why this type of evil can exist and the way it could be discovered before such tragedies.

I miss the sound of the Spark Plug Lighthouse in Lubec. There's no peace more comforting than that or the sound of the church bells ringing every Sunday in Falls Church. Whenever this happens, I feel a nostalgia for Grammy Rier.

Is it a brain scan of the frontal cortexes and genetic testing for the MAOA trait that can predict violence in murderers? How is it possible that a person could just snap all of a sudden? Did people value patience and kindness more in the past?

I read once that some people can just snap over a parking spot conflict and just go to shooting another person just because they can't park in the spot that "belongs" to them. Before those shootings occur there's no warning sign. Why?

There was an incident with one of Nathan's childhood friends from Maine. He "snapped" in boot camp. I think he killed his boot camp instructor and was in prison. I don't understand why he would do that though.

It's not actually as stressful in boot camp as growing up in the ghetto. Sadly, I am conditioned to fall asleep with the similar sounds to a "Cops" show happening in my childhood neighborhood. If I watch that show I actually get sleepy, through some "Hood Disease Pavlovian response." Police helicopters with search lights, and running fugitives with police chasing them was a normal occurrence at night.

What bothered me about this boot camp murderer is he grew up in Maine, in an idyllic, rural town. These murderers are not all drug gangsters, or cartels or Viet Cong. I don't know what Grammy would say. It's as if the world became more violent than in the 1950's, even though I know the KKK existed in that time, in Lubec, Maine too. What will prevent these tragedies? How do people just "snap" and why is the world so violent?

The simplistic, racist notion that Cathy Rier gave me for going to war was that it was better to take the fight to them, these terrorists. I think she considered it without realizing that she herself was a racist sexual abuser of a disabled veteran.

There's a reasoning process hate criminals who are abusers go through where "you deserve it." I don't understand why she was so abusive towards me. On a larger scale the world is always at war with women and it's because we threaten the patriarchal norms, if we won't accept their rape jihadist campaign.

When I was touring a park with Grammy, she called her daughter, at the U.S.-Canadian border. When I got to meet and know her children, I realized how similar to the Liesel Pringles' situation it was like for Grammy and Grampy.

That's something that occurred in my own extended family too, in South Vietnam, the same Liesel Pringles issue. I don't trust any Madame Nhu, powerful people now. It's as if power (not just will or estate inheritance money, but political power) corrupted everyone. I grew up poor, and as a child, I made wedding dress for dolls out of a clean roll of toilet paper, and thought that was good enough. Why is this world of Pringles' estate drama so evil?

Phrases were sometimes just screamed at me such as "kill you!" and all the punching, raping, beating, shoving, name calling, that accompanied them were somehow acceptable. I don't understand this "American History X" reasoning, by so many hateful, meth, crack, heroin and opiate addicts. I thought it could have been the drug addictions, but now I think it's inherently part of their femicidal personalities, before the addictions.
