The apocalyptic end of times, or eschatology of ISIL is a draw for many foreign jihadists. Apparently, they also like to call themselves knights, and make references to the medieval times. It's because they truly feel their "Caliphate" is anointed by God, similar to all the king-making associated with most Hitlers. The Virginian in me can not trust anyone. Now, I suspect every tall poppy with holier-than-thou attitudes as possible ISIL jihadists.
