Silicon Valley has not been good stewarts of the environment, or humanitarian labor practices. If half of its data centers were located in Boulder, Colorado, it could afford the talent to build more secure, and stable firmware, hardware, and software.
The reason they don't want Boulder, is because of their denial regarding : prioritizing hybrid, cloud computing security, addressing firmware weaknesses to malware, increasing feminist labor management practices, reducing paper processing pollution, cutting back on electronic, landfill waste, and refusal to admit that each e-mail they carbon copy to a hundred employees per day generates at least 50 pages of non-recycled, non-organic soy ink, printed e-mails.
Instead of offering working Mums paid, Family Medical Leave-compliant sick days, they have violated federal laws, forcing many mothers to become enslaved to their atheist corporate culture, instead of a more compassionate, family inclusive one. Offering their working Mums a free daycare center located inside of each corporate building must be commonplace in the I.T. and finance industry.
If you're in I.T. and have children, it's ten times more difficult to find affordable, inclusive housing, and daycare. The reason why is because many non-parents, all wealthier, have no perspective on balancing work and family. Those are the ones who loudly complain about toddlers going into a Japanese restaurant in West Hartford, CT. They also own properties for renting, yet refuse families in I.T., with children as tenants. They repeatedly get financially rewarded for violating the Fair Housing Act in Hartford, CT's metropolitan areas.
***The I.T. and finance industries need to perform comprehensive drug and alcohol testing every single month, to prevent further employee abuse, discrimination lawsuits and corporate espionage.***
